Regular Groups & Activities

The Coach House is used as a meeting venue by a wide range of local societies, voluntary groups and individuals. On offer is a wide variety of pastimes and courses for which new members and participants are always welcome.  As we come out of lockdown, weekly and monthly meetings are beginning to restart.

Organised by day of the week, below is a list of all resumed activities, noting the frequency and providing contact information for the organisers.


Bloom Oldham & Rochdale - Busy Bees & Caterpillar Clubs (10.00am to Noon, weekly during term time).  Join Bloom Oldham & Rochdale for two age-specific award-winning multi-sensory baby development classes.  From 10am to 11am the Busy Bees Club welcomes babies from 6 to 15 months of age.  From 11am to Noon, the Caterpillar Club welcomes babies from 6 weeks to 6 months of age.  Click here to book.  For further information, click here to email Holly with your questions.

Littleborough U3A (2pm to 4pm, second Monday of each month).  Membership of the U3A is open to anyone aged 50 or over in either part time employment or no employment/retired.  Click through for further information about Littleborough U3A, including how to join and to see the range of special interest groups that meet on a regular basis throughout the town.


Zumba Gold (10am to 11am, weekly).  All welcome.  Contact Caroline on 07534 586591 for further information.

U3A Choir (1.30pm to 2.30pm, first three Tuesdays of each month).  The Choir meets on the first three Tuesdays of each month.  Membership of the choir requires you to become a member of the Littleborough U3A.  Membership of the U3A is open to anyone aged 50 or over in either part time employment or no employment/retired.  Click through to the Choir's webpage for further information and a contact link.


Rochdale Carers' Hub (10am until noon, second Wednesdays).  The Rochdale Carers’ Hub provides a single point of access for all carers (either young or adult) in the wider Rochdale borough.  The Hub exists to ensure that carers of all ages have access to information, advice and a wide range of support services.  These support services are designed to help carers continue in their caring role for as long as they choose and to reduce the impact the caring role can have on a carers own health and wellbeing.  Click through to the Hub's website or Facebook page for more information or call Sandra Montgomery on 03450 138208 (a local rate number). Pennine Wine Circle (12.30pm to 3pm, fourth Wednesday of each month except December). Contact Harry Davies on 01706 630413 for more information about the group.

Littleborough Townswomen’s Guild (7.30pm onwards; weekly from February to December).  Contact Maureen on 01706 838845 for further information.


Yoga (10.30am to 11.30am, weekly). Contact Wyn on 01706 653594 for more information.

Rochdale Carers' Hub Coffee & Chat (1pm to 2.30pm, first and third Thursdays).  See the entry on Wednesdays for futher information and contact points for the Hub.  The Thursday sessions, twice a month, are informal gatherings to grab a brew and talk to like minded people.  These sessions start from September 2021 onwards


Joy To The World Dance Class (1pm to 2pm, weekly).  Join Leonie each Friday for her dance class.  All abilities and ages welcomed.  For more information, phone Leonie on 07939 121809.


Slimming World (8.45am to 9.45am and 10am to 10.45am, weekly).  Join Mel for one of two Saturday morning sessions to dream ... believe ... and achieve with Slimming World.  Call her on 07460 821574 for more information.  If you can't make it on a Saturday morning Mel is also holding sessions in the Coach House on Friday mornings (see above).
